Bronwen Yoga

Through yoga, and movement on earth, we honour our source - water - and our original movement in the womb. We allow the flow to continue, through us and around us, allowing the continuous evolution of our body, mind and spirit. To remain fluid is to be alive. Water is life. We need to remain connected to our source.

Yoga…

…,like water, is a balancing practice. In its connecting quality, it connects all forms of exercises (strength, rhythmic, flexibility), it connects various practices (eating, breathing, spiritual, physical). Fascia is the liquid connecting tissue throughout our bodies – just as water connects all parts of our earth. The connecting practice of yoga keeps this ‘tissue’ flexible, fluid… keeping us fluid… keeping us alive.

Hello, I’m Bronwen. Welcome to our Practice.

I’ve dedicated my life to movement arts and connecting with water. In my teaching I incorporate the qualities of water to be sensitive, rhythmical and to transform. I’ve trained in different styles of yoga, movement and healing arts and unite elements of each of these practices to unlock each student’s innate potential to free their bodies, allowing them to be transformed. Our movement affects our form and our form affects our movement. It is a constant interplay. Our bodies were created in water, through its movement, enabling us to move and impact the water surrounding us and within us. The ocean nourishes my soul – I bring the nourishing and connecting energy of water and the ocean into my teaching and practice.

A flowing and rhythmic sequence combining asana (postures) with pranayama (breath), allowing tensions to release in the mind-body. All levels welcome.

Private Yoga

Healing sessions designed to your unique requirements, incorporating breath and energy balancing practices. 

Shiatsu Treatments

A deeply relaxing treatment with pressure and stretches applied along the energy meridians of your body to release and promote the free flow of energy.

What is Yoga?

Yoga is more than just a form of exercise – it’s a way of life. Yoga means ‘to connect’ – connecting us to our deeper selves and to everything around us. Yoga incorporates many different practices, including asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation.

What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu is an ancient healing art. It works by applying pressure and stretches along the meridians of the body – clearing any blockages there might be and energising where the body’s energy is low. The result is that your body’s energy is balanced, leaving you feeling relaxed and energised. Shiatsu assists in alleviating many conditions, including headaches, back pain, sinusitis, muscular pain and many other conditions.
